Chris has been tattooing since January 1996. After attempting to teach himself for a year or so he began an apprenticeship at Papillon South, on Singer Island, Fl. under the direction of Whitey Freeman. Three years later he completed his apprenticeship, having been thoroughly instructed in all aspects of the craft, including making needles, tuning machines, and most importantly, maintaining a sterile environment through proper cross-contamination prevention. Chris enjoys tattooing a variety of styles, as well as doing custom freehand work, using his clients ideas and the natural flow of the body to create unique designs. In addition to tattooing, Chris also works in watercolors and acrylics, finding inspiration anywhere between nature and pop culture, and the occasional tattoo design. Growing up in South Florida, Chris moved to San Diego in late 2004, a few months after taking a summer vacation here. He has since developed an addiction to good weather and burritos so severe, he is unable to leave San Diego for more than a week or two at a time.
